Gordon Clay here. "Are you winning at losing?" Well, it's that time of year. New Year's Resolutions and articles concerning weight loss suggestions are everywhere.
The main reason, I believe, that most diets don't work is a lack of willpower. It takes a lot to keep away from what attributed to the weight gain in the first place.
Should I exercise more? What I found for me is that there's nothing wrong with moderate exercise. It helps keep the body in good shape. However, if I'm trying to lose weight, I really have to watch what I eat after exercise because, like most people, I found that I actually consumed more calories than I was working off.
May 10th I started the hCG Diet. I weighted 208 pounds. I weight in at 160 on July 4 ( 50 Days later) with no exercise regimen.
The diet says I can eat anything I want and I will be able to maintain my low weight of 160 and never have to diet again and it seems to be working.
Since then I've basically eaten what I want including ice cream and chocolate. Sunday I had a pizza at Wild River to watch the Niners win and Monday I went back for another pizza to watch the Ducks win. This morning, I weighted 161. Not bad after 6 months on my own.
However, I'm planning on taking it a step further because there are some things I eat that I know don't serve my body.
