"Who's Fleecing Whom?"

Gordon Clay here. Have you noticed those professionally made "Job Killing" signs on Chetco Ave? Is it a coincidence that the cross street is Easy Street.  I'm sure they cost more that $150 each. And they are all over the state.

I went to all three Town Meetings on Tuesday to hear their spin against 66/67. Representative Krieger stated several times the importance of integrity. Let's see.

Senator Kruse insinuated that Nike would leave Oregon if 67 passed (which Nike absolutely deny's).

They claimed that the legislature is growing the Oregon government. However, human services like Child and Family Services was cut 20%. Yet Corrections had a major increase. It makes sense: cuts in human services grows the need for more police and jails. Yet, according to a national comparison, Oregon's Sherrif's department had the largest decrease of any Sherrif's department in the nation -31%. Next closest state cut only18%. Think the drug cartels are noticing?

They also claimed that there was no real budget problem that couldn't be solved by accepting their agenda which included asking state employees to pay a percentage of their own health care costs to the tune of a hundred million in savings.

See how it works? The small group of wealthy people asking people who aren't making anywhere close to $125M to use even more of their limited disposable income to pay for the health of their family.

By the way: Check out that billboard. Notice the hand taking a bill out of a wallet? If you make under $125M in taxable income, that's your wallet being fleeced by the wealthy and maybe by politicos who don't really want to see anything work right now to turn our state and country around. Think about it.
